A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS, ACCEPTING DONATIONS IN THE AMOUNTS OF TWO
THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($2,500.00) FROM
THE BAYTOWN KENNEL CLUB AND SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE
HUNDRED AND NOi100 DOLLARS ($7,500.00) FROM THE AMERICAN
KENNEL CLUB FOR THE PURCHASE OF A NEW K9 FOR THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby accepts
donations in the amounts of TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO,100 DOLLARS
($2,500.00) from the Baytown Kennel Club and SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND
NO/100 DOLLARS from the American Kennel Club for the purchase of a new K9 for the Police
Department.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the
City Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the
City of Baytown, this the 24"' day of March, 2022.
