2004 10 07 CC Minutes, SpecialMINUTES OF THE SPECIAL SESSION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN October 7, 2004 5:00 p.m. The City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, met in special session on October 7, 2004, at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber of Baytown City Hall with the following in attendance: Ronnie Anderson Sammy Mahan Don Murray Scott Sheley Calvin Mundinger Gary M. Jackson Bob Leiper Karen Horner Sylvia Aguilar Absent was: Mercedes Renteria III Council Member Council Member Council Member Council Member Mayor City Manager Deputy City Manager First Assistant City Attorney Deputy City Clerk Council Member The meeting was opened with a quorum present after which the following business was conducted: Conduct the appeal hearing concerning the order of demolition issued by the Urban Rehabilitation Standards Review Board affecting the building at 5338 Highway 146. Mayor Mundinger called the hearing to order. Appellant, Bonnie Crawford did not appear. Council received sworn testimony from Ms. Debbie Barnes, Property Maintenance and Rehabilitation Specialist, concerning the condition of the building and the actions taken in relation thereto. The hearing was closed. Consider upholding, modifying, or reversing the decision of the Urban Rehabilitation Standards Review Board affecting the building at 5338 Highway 146. Council Member Sheley moved to uphold the decision of the Urban Rehabilitation Standards Review Board affecting the building at 5338 Highway 146. Council Member Anderson seconded the motion.
