OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN
September 21, 1992
The City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, met in
special session on Monday, September 21, 1992, at 6:00 p.m. in
the Conference Room of the Baytown City Hall, 2401 Market Street,
with the following in attendance:

The meeting was opened with a quorum present, after which
the following business was conducted:
Consider Proposed Resolution No. 1156, Approving Articles of
Amendment to the Articles of Incorporation of the Baytown Housing
Finance Corporation
Council member Pruett moved to adopt the resolution.
Council member Alfaro seconded the motion.
Council member Hullum expressed his concern with regard to
approving the amendment when the city has no assurances in
writing from the board of the corporation regarding refunding and
the portion that will come to the city.
Council member Alfaro stated that he had spoken with the
Chairman of the board who felt that the board would be in a
position to approve 1.2 million dollars for the City of Baytown.
In response to Council member Hullum's inquiry as to what
options are available to the city, the city attorney responded
that council has the option to replace the board.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN APPROVING
ARTICLES OF AMENDMENT TO THE ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION OF THE
BAYTOWN HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
Adjourn
There being no further business to be transacted, the
meeting was adjourned.
