OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN
April 29, 1992
The City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, met in
special session on Wednesday, April 29, 1992, at 8:00 a.m. in
the City Hall Council Chamber, 2401 Market Street, with the
following in attendance:

The meeting was called to order with a quorum present.
Consider Confirmation of Appointment of Finance Director
This item will be included on a future agenda.
Consider Proposed Ordinance, Awarding Rehabilitation Contract for
329 Greenbriar
The administration asked the low bidder, Nolasco Carpentry,
to bid the items previously omitted, which bid amount equaled
$1,065. Previously Nolasco had bid $13,447. Therefore, the
administration recommended adoption of the ordinance which would
award the contract and authorize Change No. 1 for Community
Development Rehabilitation Project to Nolasco Carpentry for the
sum of $14,512.
Councilman Credille moved for adoption of the ordinance.
Councilman Swofford seconded the motion.

Minutes of the Regular Meeting - April 29, 1992
The city manager stated that the contractor would leave the
water heater as requested by Ms. Miller. Community Development
requires that the contractor haul off building materials and
leave the area free of debris. This policy will be reviewed.
The vote follows:
Ayes: Council members Delgado, Hullum, Swofford,
Alfaro, Credille and Pruett

Ordinance No. 6228
AN ORDINANCE AWARDING THE CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER
NO. 1 FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT REHABILITATION PROJECT NO.
91 -06 TO NOLASCO CARPENTRY FOR THE SUM OF FOURTEEN THOUSAND FIVE
HUNDRED TWELVE AND N01100 ($14,512.00) DOLLARS AND AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT THEREOF.
Recess Into Executive Session to Discuss Pending Litigation
a. Single Member District Lawsuit.
Mayor Hutto announced that there was no need for the
executive session.
Adjourn
There being no further business to be transacted, the
meeting was adjourned.
