OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN
December 20, 1990
The City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, met in
special session on Thursday, December 20, 1990, at 4:00 p.m. in
the Council Chamber of the Baytown City Hall with the following
attendance:

The meeting was called to order with a quorum present, after
which the following business was transacted:
Consider Proposed Ordinance, Repealing Ordinance No. 5707 and
Authorizing a Contract with the Goose Creek Stream Development
Committee, Inc. for the Development of Goose Creek Stream
Since the last council meeting, the Goose Creek Stream
Development Committee has determined that it is in their best
interest to incorporate. Therefore, the proposed ordinance will
repeal Ordinance No. 5707 and authorize a contract with the Goose
Creek Stream Development Committee, Inc. for the development of
Goose Creek Stream. The administration recommended approval of
the ordinance.
Section 1 of the proposed contract has a minor change which
changes the wording "will acquire by gift, donation, purchase" to
"will facilitate the acquisition by gift, donation, purchase."
The major change is to authorize the contract with the
corporation.

Councilman Johnson moved for adoption of the ordinance.
Councilman Pruett seconded the motion. The vote follows:

Ordinance No. 5732
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AND
THE CITY CLERK TO ATTEST TO A CONTRACT WITH GOOSE CREEK STREAM
DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE, INC. FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

meeting was adjourned.
