Minutes of the Special Meeting - June 17, 1981
The City Clerk explained to Council that there had been
an absentee ballot forwarded to Precinct 99 which had been
overlooked by the election judge. Therefore, the Secretary
of State's office had been contacted to determine the proper
procedure in that event. The City Clerk was instructed to
have the election judge come by her office and for the judge
to cast the vote according to the manner in which the ballot
was marked. This procedure was followed and the vote was
included in the tabulation.
There being no further business to be transacted, the
meeting was adjourned.
