1979 08 27 CC Minutes, Special90827 -1 MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN August 27, 1979 The City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, met in special session on Monday, August 27, 1979, at 5:00 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Baytown City Hall. The following members were in attendance: Fred T. Philips Jimmy Johnson Ted Kloesel Emmett 0. Hutto Fritz Lanham Dan Savage Scott Bounds Karen Petru Councilman Councilman Councilman Mayor City Manager Assistant City Manager City Attorney Deputy City Clerk Absent: Mary E. Wilbanks Councilwoman Eileen Caffey Councilwoman Allen Cannon Councilman Eileen P. Hall City Clerk Mayor Hutto called the meeting to order. Consider Request for Sewer Service Outside the City Limits Council has received a copy of a letter from Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Timothy Duree requesting sanitary sewer service on Raccoon Drive south of Whispering Pines. Council has approved a number of other requests on this street. Mr. Lanham commented that he felt that this area will need to be annexed in the very near future. Mr. and Mrs. Duree will have to pay the installation and $100 buy -in charge. They will also have to pay twice the minimum fee plus 1i times the normal rate for sanitary sewer service. The Administration recommended approval of this request. Councilman Kloesel moved to accept the recommendation of the Administration; Councilman Philips seconded the motion.
