of Loop 201 from Hunter Street to State Highway 146 at McKinney Road
which work would consists of grading, structures, and storm sewers at
an estimated cost of $17,022,445.00. The entire cost will be paid

Consider Animal Sterilization Program
The Animal Sterilization Program was discussed at the last
Council meeting where Council indicated a desire to reduce the
vouchers issued under the Animal Sterilization Program from $20.00
to $15.00. The Administration recommended that the City's parti-
cipation in this program be reduced from $20.00 to $15.00.
Councilman Johnson moved to accept the recommendation of the
Administration to be effective October 4, 1978; Councilwoman
Caffey seconded the motion. The vote follows:
Ayes: Council members Lander, Johnson, Caffey and Cannon
Mayor Hutto
Nays: None
Mr. Lanham mentioned that the City Attorney was in Austin parti-
cipating in the hearing before the Public Utilities Commission on the
Houston Lighting and Power Company's request for rate increase. There
is a possibility that that hearing may take longer than first anticipated
when the hearing to be held in Baytown was scheduled. Therefore, there
may be an item on the agenda for the regular meeting to reschedule the
hearing to be held in Baytown.
