Assistant City Manager
Mayor Gentry called the meeting to order and representatives
of Langford Engineering, Inc. presented a report to Council regard-
ing the response to the Enforcement Order of the Texas Water Quality
Board which incorporated the engineering report for Systematic
Sewer System Evaluation Survey.
Councilman Kloesel moved to accept the report regarding the
response to Enforcement Order No. 76 -31 of the Texas Water Quality
Board which incorporated therein the engineering report for System-
atic Sewer System Evaluation Survey and to authorize Langford
Engineering to present said report to the Texas Water Quality Board
on September 1, 1976; Councilman Kimmons seconded the motion. The
vote follows:
Ayes: Council members Lander, Kimmons, Kloesel, Wilbanks,
Hutto and Cannon
Mayor Gentry
Nays: None
During the review of the report, Council had questioned the
engineers concerning the use of various types of sewer pipe. In
this regard, Mr. Lanham informed Council that Mr. R. T. Bishop,
a local contractor, had contacted the Administration and requested
to meet with Council at a convenient time to show a film presenta-
tion on the various types of sewer pipe. Council concurred that
a good time for this presentation would be Thursday, September 9
at S:lS p.m.
There being no further business to transact, the motion was
made and duly seconded to adjourn. The vote was unanimous to
adjourn.
