MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL
MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS
January 7, 1970
The City Council of the City of.Baytown, Texas, met in special session
on Wednesday, January 7, 1970, at 5:00 p.m., in the Council Room of the Bay-
town City Hall, with the following members in attendance:
David Evans
Councilman
Don M. Hullum
Councilman
Leonard Stasney
Councilman
Allen Cannon
Councilman
Lamar Kelley
Councilman
C. Glen Walker Mayor
D. R. Voelkel City Manager
William R. Laughlin City Attorney
Edna Oliver City Clerk
Absent: T. L. Kloesel Councilman
The Mayor called the meeting to order and stated that the purpose of the
special meeting was to consider the first reading of an ordinance annexing Park
Street from existing city limits to Bayway Drive.
Ordinance - Annexing Park Street - First Reading
City Attorney Laughlin introduced and read an ordinance, on first read-
ing, extending the city limits of the City of Baytown to include Park Street
(Wooster -Cedar Bayou Road) from the existing city limits to Bayway Drive.
Councilman Cannon moved to adopt the ordinance as read. Councilman Stasney
seconded the motion. The vote follows:
Ayes: Councilmen Evans, Hullum, Stasney, Cannon and Kelley
Mayor Walker
Nays: None

ORDINANCE NO. 1007
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF
CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY
CONSISTING OF PLUS OR MINUS 12.5 ACRES OF LAND,
WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS
THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF BAY -
TOWN, TEXAS.
Adjourn
There being no further business to come before the Council, Council-
man Stasney moved that the meeting adjourn; Councilman Cannon seconded
the motion. The ayes were unanimous and the Mayor called the meeting ad-
journed.
