MINUTES OF A SPECIAL
MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF BAYTOWN
September 21, 1965
The City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas met in special session on Tuesday,
September 21, 1965 at the Baytown City Hall with the following members in attendance:

A. M. Braswell

Raymond T. Donnelly

The meeting was called to order by the Mayor for the purpose of reviewing
the 1965 -66 proposed budget and the following actions were taken by the Council.
° Councilman Hullum excused from meeting because of work schedule.
Pay Increase - Full -Time City Employees
Councilman Massey moved to grant full -time city employees a $50.00 per month per
person pay increase. Councilman Huron seconded the motion. The vote follows:
Ayes: Councilmen Massey and Huron
Mayor Cravey
Nays: Councilmen Braswell and Donnelly
City Manaoer - $1,200 Per Year Pay Increase
Councilman Donnelly moved to grant City Manager Lanham a $1,200 per year pay
increase. Councilman Massey seconded the motion. The vote follows:
Ayes: Councilmen Massey, Braswell, Huron and Donnelly.

Nays: None
Defer Retirement - Lintelman And Futch
Councilman Donnelly moved to defer, for one year, the retirement of A. H. Lintelman
and S. 0. Futch who have reached the age of 65 during 1965. Councilman Huron seconded
the motion. The vote follows:
Ayes: Councilmen Massey, Braswell, Huron and Donnelly.

Adiournment
The motion was made for the meeting to adjourn. The ayes were unanimous and the
Mayor declared the meeting adjourned.
