After some time the developer proposed to secure the necessary easement, tie -in and lay a 6 -inch water main from East Texas Avenue to a point agreed upon by his Fire Insurance Carrier; the city can then continue on with the installation of a 6 -inch main to the county drain ditch, bearing the difference in cost of the pipe, and complete the extension with a 2 -inch main under Tri City Beach Road to loop with the Roseland Oaks 6 -inch main. This proposal was agreed upon by the Council but a written agreement will be executed by both parties setting forth the intent and purpose of the negotiation.
