PREFACE This resolution is the first step in granting the petition of Earl W. Wilburn, Jr., for the proposed annexation of approximately 69.50 acres and the adjacent North Main Street right-of-way extending northwards approximately 1,335 feet from its current terminus and containing approximately 2.16 acres, for a total proposed annexation of 71.66 acres. The subject property address is 8902 North Main Street and is legally described as a portion of Lot 13 of the Geo Ellis League Subdivision in the George Ellis League, Abstract No. 21, Harris County, Texas. The subject tract currently has one single-family residence. This resolution will direct the preparation of a service plan for the subject area, and would allow staff to negotiate and draft a written agreement regarding services for the subject area per the requirement of the annexation law (Loc Gov't Code §43.0672).
