the Law Pertaining to Private Subdivisions with questions, therein, to be answered
by City Attorney Chandler.
First: Must the 6ity of Baytown honor a plat which has been previously
approved and filed by hnd with the Harris County Commissioners
Court and the Clerk of Harris County, respectively?
The answer to this question is that the City must respect such
plats.
Secondly:If property owner has a County - approved plat, but the pro-
perty owner later makes changes in such plat, is the City re-
quired to honor such original plat?
In this situation the City need not honor the original plat
because when the propebty owner made changes in the original
plat it amounted to a vacation of the original plat, after
which the property owner would have to deal solely with the
City
