The City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas met in special session on
Monday, November 10, 1952 at 7:30 p. m. in the office of the City Tanager with
the following members in attendance:

The Mayor called the meeting to order.
Purchase - Enlarger

City Attorney
Councilman H. M. Campbell moved to authorize the purchase of a photo - enlarger
for the Police Department. Councilman Bergeron seconded the motion. The roll call
vote was as follows:

Authorize - Mayor Contract - Houston Lighting anR Power Company
Councilman H. M. Campbell moved to authorize the Mayor to execute a revised,
contract with the Houston Lighting and Power Company for electrical service at
Roseland Park Swimming Pool. Councilman Peeves seconded the motion, The -roll
call vote was as follows:

Durain Ferry Road - Access
Councilman H. M. Campbell moved to disapprove the opening of the Durain Ferry
Road as an access road to Spur 201. If any money is made atailable for road repair
it was decided to improve West Main Street. Councilman M. L. Campbell seconded
the motion. The roll call vote was as follows:

Rules & Regulations - Civil Service
It was agreed to meet again on Monday, November 17th and ccmplete the review
of the rules and regulations of Civil Service.

Councilmen Pruett moved that the meeting adjourn. Councilman Bergeron seconded
the motionl The ayes were unanimous and the Mayor declared the meeting ad-
journed.
