Councilman Campbell asked that the minutes be corrected to read, " Attorney Bruce presented a petition �'fram Clifton Henderson,00lored, who asked for $2,500.00 punitive damages, plus two weeks loss of work and that this income wouldnot have been less than X665.00 per week and would have ranged upward to �75.00per week, a loss in salary of N140.00 Doctor bills and Hospital cost in the amount of $21.00. Also change the minutes to read, councilman Campbell question the advisability of suspending the two(2) indited policeman until tried by a court of law, instead of Grand Jury trial. With these corrections the minutes were appro�,ed. whereupon the following business was transacteds HA F ':.ti STREET REICKT A committee composed of councilman Campbell) Pruett and Bergeron gave a report of the conditions found on Hafer Street and stated that at the present time nothing could be done to alleviate the existing cc-dition. Councilman Bergeron seconded the motion. Mayor Ward ask City Attorney Chandler to draw up an ordinance prohibiting any dog tagged or otherwise, running at large for at least 45 days in the City limits. City Attorney Chandler immediately drew up the ordinance, introduced and read same. Councilman Berge on moved to adopt the ordinance as read. Councilman Campbell seconded the motion.
