A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE APPLICATIONS
TO HARRIS COUNTY PRECINCT 2 FOR THREE FISCAL YEAR 2021
PARTNERSHIP PROJECT GRANTS ON BEHALF OF THE PUBLIC WORKS
AND ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT FOR INFRASTRUCTURE
IMPROVEMENTS IN THE WEST TEXAS AVENUE, WEST BAYTOWN
AND JENKINS PARK AREAS; DESIGNATING AN AUTHORIZED
REPRESENTATIVE; AUTHORIZING THE REPRESENTATIVE TO ACCEPT
OR AFFIRM ANY GRANT AWARD THAT MAY RESULT THEREFROM;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
Section l: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby approves and
authorizes the City Manager to make applications to Harris County Precinct 2 for three Fiscal
Year 2021 Partnership Project Grants on behalf of the Public Works and Engineering
Department for infrastructure improvements in the West Texas Avenue, West Baytown and
Jenkins Park areas.
Section 2: That the City Manager is hereby designated as the authorized
representative for all purposes under the grants.
Section 3: That the City Manager of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized to
accept or affirm grant awards that may result from the above applications.
Section 4: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by
the City Council of the City of Baytown.
