WHEREAS, Section 43.052 of the Texas I.,ocal Government Code provides that the City may annex property without an annexation plan if the area contains fewer than 100 separate tracts of land on which one or more residential dwellings are located on each tract or ift-nore than 50 percent of the real propert- y owners in the area proposed for annexation submit a petition for annexation; and W I IEREAS, the City of Baytown has received a petition filed by Sang Vallagornesa requesting annexation of approximately 16.643 acres of land situated in the Ashbel Smith Survey, Abstract 954,just west ofSjolander Road and south of Interstate 10 in Harris C0LH1ty, TCXaS; and WHEREAS, on this date, the City Council heard the petition and the arguments for and against the annexation and desires to grant the petition; NOWTFIERI"FORE, BE IT RI_-.`1SOLVED BY "fell: CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City COLHICH of the City of` Baytown, Texas, hereby grants the petition of'Sam Vallagomesa requesting annexation of approximately 16.6,43 acres of land situated in the Ashbel Smith Survey, Abstract 954, .bast West of Sjolander Road and south of Interstate 10 in Harris County, Texas. Said petition is attached hereto as Exhibit "A," and incorporated herein for all intents and Purposes. Section 2: That the City COLHICH of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes and directs the Planning and Development Services Department to prepare a service plan for the property identified in Section I hereof Section 3� This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
