RESOLUTION NO. 1076
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OR CITY MANAGER OF
THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, TO MAKE APPLICATION TO THE
HARRIS COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR A GRANT
TO CONSTRUCT WATER AND SEWER LINES IN THE
EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE CITY AND PROVIDING
FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
Section 1 : That the Mayor or City Manager of the City of
Baytown is hereby authorized to make application to the Harris
County Community Development Agency for a grant for the
construction of water and sewer lines within the extraterritorial
jurisdiction of the City of Baytown, and the Mayor is directed to
sign the attached Exhibit "2" certifying such authorization.
Section 2 : This resolution shall take effect immediately
from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of
Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED, by the affirmative vote of the
City Council of the City of Baytown, this the 14th day of
December, 1989.
