RESOLUTION NO. 1036
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF
BAYTOWN, TEXAS, TO MAKE APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS
CRIMINAL JUSTICE COUNCIL FOR A DISCRETIONARY GRANT TO
FUND THE EAST HARRIS COUNTY DRUG TASK FORCE AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
Section l: That the City Manager of the City of Baytown is
hereby authorized to make application to the Texas Criminal
Justice Council for a discretionary grant to fund the East Harris
County Drug Task Force in the amount of FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND AND
N01100 ($400,000.00) DOLLARS.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately
from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of
Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED, by the affirmative vote of the
City Council of the City of Baytown, this the 22nd day of
December, 1988.
