RESOLUTION NO. 887
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY
OF BAYTOWN TO MAKE APPLICATION UNDER SECTION 9, OF THE
URBAN MASS TRANSIT ACT OF 1964, AS AMENDED, FOR GRANT
FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF TEN THOUSAND AND NO/100
($10,000.00) DOLLARS FOR THE CITY OF BAYTOWN SENIOR
CITIZENS' TAXICAB PROGRAM.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Manager of the City of Baytown is hereby
authorized to make application under Section 9 of the Urban Mass Transit Act of
1964, as amended, for grant funds in the amount of TEN THOUSAND AND NO/100
($10,000.00) DOLLARS, 50% of the City's share of the funds necessary to continue
the City of Baytown Senior Citizen's Taxicab Program for the calendar year 1985.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City
Council of the City of Baytown, this the 23rd day of August, 1984.
