A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN
RATIFYING AND AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND
RECREATION OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN TO MAKE APPLICATION
TO THE TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT FOR GRANT
FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED FIFTY FIVE THOUSAND
FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100 ($255,500.00) DOLLARS FOR THE
ACQUISITION AND DEVELOPMENT OF PARK LAND.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
Section 1: That the Application (Exhibit A) of the Director of Parks and
Recreation of the City of Baytown is hereby ratified and authorized to the Texas
Parks and Wildlife Department for grant funds in the amount of TWO HUNDRED
FIFTY FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100 ($255,500.00) DOLLARS to
acquire and develop park land in the City of Baytown.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City
Council of the City of Baytown, this the 23rd day of August, 1984.
