RESOLUTION NO . 738
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN
AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR A STEP 3 GRANT FOR WEST
SEWER DISTRICT FUNDING.
WHEREAS, the City of Baytown, Texas deems it necessary
and proper to apply for Federal grant assistance for the
West Sewer District Facilities, Project No. C-48-1151, under
the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1972 ,
Public Law 92-500, and the rules and regulations pursuant
thereto.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BAYTOWN:
Section 1 : That Fritz Lanham, City Manager, as the
Signatory Agent of the Applicant , or the successor of said
Agent, is hereby authorized and directed to make application
for grant assistance under Public Law 92-500 and the rules
and regulations pursuant thereto; specifically 40 CFR
30. 315-1 (1975) ; and to sign the acceptance of the grant
assistance, when made, and any other documents required to
complete the project , on behalf of the above-named Appli-
cant .
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this the 12th day of
June 1980.
