RESOLUTION NO. 732
A UNANIMOUS RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS , FORMALLY RECOGNIZING AND THANKING
TED KLOESEL FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY AS COUNCIL-
MAN FROM DISTRICT NO. ONE BEGINNING APRIL, 1976, THROUGH
APRIL, 1980, AND RECOGNIZING SOME OF THE ACCOMPLISH-
MENTS HE WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN BRINGING ABOUT DURING HIS
TENURE OF OFFICE.
WHEREAS , Ted Kloesel has served the City of Baytown as
Councilman from District No. One for a period of four (4)
years ending April 30, 1980; and
WHEREAS, Ted Kloesel , as a member of City Council , was
instrumental in the implementation of drainage, sewer,
street , and water improvements; and
WHEREAS , during his tenure of office the senior citizens
and disabled citizens of Baytown were granted increased tax
exemptions on homesteads and a transportation and nutrition
program for senior citizens were implemented; and
WHEREAS, Ted Kloesel , during his tenure of office did
strive for the betterment of this community , and the City of
Baytown has continued to grow, prosper, and operate on a
sound financial basis;
Accordingly, the City Council desires to express its
appreciation to Ted Kloesel for his faithful civic partic-
ipation in the government of the City of Baytown ; NOW THERE-
FORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAYTOWN:
That the City Council on behalf of itself and the
citizens of Baytown , hereby officially recognizes, thanks,
and commends Ted Kloesel for his valuable service to the
City as Councilman from District No . One.

the members of the City Council of the City of Baytown on
this 30th day of April , 1980.
