AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS, RENEWING THE EMERGENCY DEBRIS REMOVAL PRE -EVENT
CONTRACT WITH BAMACO, INC.; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, pursuant to competitive proposal procedures, BAMACO, Inc., entered into an
Emergency Debris Removal Pre -Event Contract with the City of Baytown on September 14, 2008,
which contract was amended on October 17, 2008, October 22, 2008, and April 29, 2009; and
WHEREAS, said contract included the option to renew for additional one -year periods and
renewals were authorized on November 24, 2009, December 10, 2010, and January 12, 2012; and
WHEREAS, BAMACO, Inc., has indicated its willingness to renew the contract for an
additional year under the same terms and conditions; and
WHEREAS, the Administration has reviewed the market conditions and recommends
renewal as being in the best interest of the City; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby renews the Emergency
Debris Removal Pre -Event Contract with BAMACO, Inc., under the same terms and conditions.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the
City Council of the City of Baytown.
