Ordinance No. 12,074ORDINANCE NO. 12,074 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, RENEWING THE AGREEMENT WITH UNITED HEALTHCARE OF TEXAS, INC., AS A THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICAL AND DENTAL CLAIMS AND FOR NETWORK SERVICES ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY -FIVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY -EIGHT AND NO /100 DOLLARS ($465,728.00) FOR THE THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR SERVICES; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. **+*++ w++++*++++++++++*++ x+ a+ xa+ axxas axxazxaazwxwaxww +rtwwxrt +wrt +w + +ww + +rt +wrt+ +art +rt + + + ++ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby renews the agreement with United HealthCare of Texas, Inc., as the third parry administrator for the administration of medical and dental claims and for network services on behalf of the City of Baytown. Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown authorizes payment to United HealthCare of Texas, Inc., of an amount not to exceed FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY -FIVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY -EIGHT AND NO /100 DOLLARS ($465,728.00), pursuant to the agreement renewed in Section I hereof. Section 3: That for the third party administrator services, the City Manager is hereby granted general authority to approve any change order involving a decrease or an increase in costs of FIFTY THOUSAND AND NO /100 DOLLARS ($50,000.00) or less; however, the original contract price may not be increased by more than twenty-five percent (25 %) or decreased by more than twenty-five percent (25 %) without the consent of the contractor to such decrease.
