Ordinance No. 12,003ORDINANCE NO. 12,003 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, APPROVING THE BUDGET OF THE ECONOMIC ALLIANCE HOUSTON PORT REGION FOR SUCH OPERATIONS OF THE ECONOMIC ALLIANCE FUNDED BY THE CITY'S HOTEL OCCUPANCY TAX REVENUES; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF HOTEL OCCUPANCY TAX REVENUES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TEN THOUSAND AND NO 1100 DOLLARS ($10,000.00) IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPROVED BUDGET; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby approves the budget of the Economic Alliance Houston Port Region for such operations of the Economic Alliance Houston Port Region funded by the City's hotel occupancy tax revenues, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, and authorizes payment of hotel occupancy tax revenues to Economic Alliance Houston Port Region, in an amount not to exceed TEN THOUSAND AND NO 1100 DOLLARS ($10,000.00), pursuant to the Economic Development Services Agreement for Tourism and Promotion Services with the Economic Alliance Houston Port Region. Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
