WHEREAS, Teamwork Construction Services, Inc., was awarded the Annual Concrete Work
Contract on June 22, 2010, PLII-Aiant to competitive bidding procedures, wh ich contract included an option
by the parties to renew for additional one-year periods; an(]
WHEREAS, such contract was renewed on May 26, 2011, and can be renewed again for an
additional one-year term; and
WHEREAS, Tearnwork Construction Services, Inc., has indicated its willingness to renew the
contract for an additional year tinder the same terms and conditions; and
WFIEREAS, the Administration has reviewed the market conditions an(] recommends renewal as
being in the best interest of the City; NOW THEREFORE
BE 11' ORDAINED BYTHIH, CITY COUNCIL O1: °1 CITY OF BAY,rOWN,TI`XAS:
Section 1: That the City COLUICil of the City of Baytomii hereby renews the Annual
Concrete Work Contract with Teamwork Construction Services, Inc., for an amount not to exceed ONL
MILLION AND NO/ 100 DOLLARS ($1,000,000 00) find authorizes payment thereof'.
Section 2: That pursuant to the provisions of Texas Local Government Code Annotated
§252.048, the City Manager is liereby granted general authority to approve any change order involving a
decrease or an increase in costs of FIFTY THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($50,000.00) or less,
provided that the original contract price may not be increased by more than twenty -five percent (251!/()) or
decreased by more than twenty -live percent (250/0) without the Consent ofthe contractor to such decrease.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from
City C01,11161 of the City of Baytown.
