'CCT; AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT OF THE SUM OF SIXTEEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FORTY - EIGHT` AND 82/100 DOLLARS ($16,248.82) TO CALCO CONTRAcrING, LAT), FOR SAID PROJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE F"FFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. WFIF.'REAS, (lie City of Baytown contracted with Calco Contracting, Ltd, for the Julie Ann Villa Subdivision Drainage Pro.ject (the "Project "); and WHEREAS, all of the said improvements, as provided in the plans and specifications heretofore prepared by the City's engineer and as approved and adopted by the City Council have been performed and completed in full accordance with all of the terms and conditions of the al'oresaid contract; and WHEREAS, the City's engineer in the manner provided by the terms of the said contract and the plans and specifications thereof, has approved and accepted the Julie Ann Villa Subdivision Drainage Project,, has heretofore issued his Certificate of Final Acceptance, has certified sane to the City Council, and has recommended that it accept and receive said work and improvements as constructed and completed by Contractor; and WHEREAS, there renitlinS ClUe and owing to Calco Contracting, Ltd, tile SUM of SIXTEEN THOUSANI)TWO HUNDRED FORTY-EIGI FF AND 82/100 DOLLARS ($ 16,248.82); NOW TH I"REFORI-H 13E ITORDAINE.D BY THE CITY COUNCIL OFTFIE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TFIXAS: Section 1: That the City COL11161 hereby accepts and approves the above-described work and improvernents,and finds and determines that all of said improvernents have been completed as provided in the plans and specifications thereof, and in full accordance with all of the terms and provisions of the aforesaid contract.
