RESOLUTION NO. 600
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS , APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION OF 1976 COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM BY H. T. HOLLAND CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY , INC. ; RECOMMENDING THAT THE HARRIS COUNTY
COMMISSIONER' S COURT AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO THE
SAID H. T. HOLLAND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY , INC. ; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
WHEREAS , the City of Baytown, Texas , and Harris County
have heretofore entered into an Interlocal Agreement for
rehabilitation work in certain areas of the city under
Community Development Block Grant No . B-76-UC-487-0002; and
WHEREAS , Harris County Commissioners contracted with H.
T. Holland Construction Company, Inc. for the construction
in the Community Development Program pursuant recommendation
of this council ; and
WHEREAS , all of said work, as provided for in the plans
and specifications set forth by the administration, and as
approved and adopted by City Council , has been performed and
completed in full accordance with the terms and provisions
of the aforesaid contract ; and
WHEREAS , there remains due and owing to said contractor
the sum of Thirty-One Thousand One Hundred Eighty-Two and
40/100 ($31, 182 .40) Dollars; NOW THEREFORE ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAYTOWN, TEXAS :
Section 1 : That the City Council hereby approves said
work, and finds and determines that all of said work has
been completed as provided in the plans and specifications,
and in full accordance with all the terms and provisions of
the contract .

Section 2 : That the City Council of the City of Baytown
recommends to the Harris County Commissioner ' s Court that
the final payment to H. T. Holland Construction Company,
Inc. be authorized and made.
Section 3 : That this resolution shall take effect
immediately from and after its passage by the City Council
of the City of Baytown .
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of
the City Council on this loth day of November, 1977 .
