A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN , TEXAS
DETERMINING THE FAIR MARKET VALUE OF THE 6.0307 ACRE HARPER
TRACT.
WHEREAS, two competent professional appraisers selected by the City of
Baytown made their appraisals of the Harper 6.0307 Acre Tract; and
WHEREAS, the two appraisals were reviewed by a competent staff appraiser
of the City of Baytown to determine the acceptability and accuracy of the appraisal
reports ; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN:
Section 1 : That the fair market value of the Harper 6.0307 Acre Tract
described in Exhibit "A" is as follows:
Harper Property, 6.0307 acres @ $ 5000.00 per acre = $30,153.50
Section 2: And be it further resolved that the work of the appraisers
as reviewed by the City of Baytown Staff Appraiser is hereby certified.

FIELD NOTES - W. A HARPLR TO THE CITY OF BAYTOWN
BEING that certain 6.030i acre tract or parcel of land situated in the William
Scott Lower League, Harris County, Texas, and being a part of that certain
38.634 acre tract conveyed to W. A. Harper, et ux by Benjamin Hunter, Jr. , et
ux, by deed dated March 1 , 1933 as recorded in Volume 1120 , at Page 322 , of the ,
Harris County Deed Records and being more particularly described by metes and
bounds as follows :
BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot One (1 ) , Block 4-.A, out of the
Harper Addition , Number 3, as recorded in Volume 25, at Page 37, of the
Harris County Map Records , Harris County, Texas, said point being situated
in the East right-of-way line line of South Hain Street; �r
THENCE , North 20' 02 ' 30" East along the East right-of-way line of South
Main Street, a distance of 614.59 feet to a point situated in the Southerly
right-of-way line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company strip based on
a 50fbot width; said point being situated in a curve to the right;
THENCE, Southeasterly along the Southwesterly right-of-way line of the
Missour Pacific Railroad Company , a curve to the right having a radius of
547.96 feet, a curvilinear distance of 759.83 feet to a point situated in
the North line of that certain 1 .4077 acre tract owned by W. A. Harper;
THENCE, North 80 52 ' West along the North line of that certain 1 .4077 acre
W. A. Harper tract, a distance of 392. 36 feet for corner;
THENCE , South 180 36'. 10" West along the West line of that certain 1 .4077
acre W. A. Harper tract, a distance of 150.06 feet to a point situated in
the Northeast corner of Lot 5, Block 4-A, out of the Harper .Addition ,
Number 3; said point being situated in a curve to the right;
THENCE , Northwesterly along the North line of Block 4-A out of the Harper
Addition, Number 3, a curve to the right having a radius of 710.90 feet,
and a curvilinear distance of 286.66 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, enclos-
ing a tract or parcel of land containing 6.0307 acres, more or less.
