A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS, COMMENDING THE TEXAS HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT FOR THEIR
COOPERATION WITH THE ADMINISTRATION AND OFFICIALS OF THE
CITY OF BAYTOWN.
WHEREAS , the local and district offices of the Texas Highway Depart-
ment have displayed outstanding cooperation with the officials and administration
of the City of Baytown; and
WHEREAS, the local and district offices of the Texas Highway Department
have displayed foresight in the development of highways , establishment of speed
controls , granting of off-street parking privileges , widening of State Highway No.
146, and numerous other projects in the Baytown area ; and
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Baytown is most gratified in
having this spirit of cooperation; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN :
Section 1 : That, the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby ex-
presses its sincere appreciation to the local and district offices of the Texas
Highway Department for their foresight, cooperation, and efficiency in the per-
formance of their duties for the Texas Highway Department.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect from and after its passage
by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
