CC Resolution No. 401 RESOLUTION NO. 401 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN , TEXAS, OFFICIALLY DESIGNATING THE TRACT OF LAND ACQUIRED BY THE CITY FROM EDWIN RICE BROWN,MYRA CABANISS BROWN, ESTATE , ADELE BROWN HARVEY ESTATE, MARTHA TSCHUDIN , MYRA TSCHUDIN PARSEN, GERALD BROWN HARVEY, JEOFFREY TALIAFERRO BROWN , MICHAEL DONOGHUE BROWN , KATHERINE SILVERBERG, MYRA SILVERBERG, AND ANN CABANISS BROWN AS A PUBLIC PARK, AND OFFICIALLY DESIGNATING AND NAMING SUCH TRACT AS THE WESTWOOD PARK. WHEREAS, by a deed delivered to the City conveying to the City land situated in the Nathaniel Lynch Survey, Abstract No. 44, and being a part of Lot or Tract No. 12 of the Subdivision known as Wooster, recorded by plat in Volume 65, at Page 274 and 275, of the Deed Records of Harris County, Texas ; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to officially dedicate such land for park purposes and desires to officially name said tract; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1 : That the City Council hereby dedicates the tract acquired from EDWIN RICE BROWN , MYRA CABANISS BROWN, ESTATE, ADELE BROWN HARVEY, ESTATE , MARTHA TSCHUDIN, MYRA TSCHUDIN PARSEN, GERALD BROWN HARVEY, JEOFFREY TALIAFERRO BROWN, MICHAEL DONOGHUE BROWN, KATHERINE SILVERBERG, MYRA SILVERBERG, AND ANN CABANISS BROWN HEYBURN, and situated in Nathaniel Lynch Survey, Abstract No. 44, and being a part of Lot or Tract No. 12 of the Subdivision known as Wooster, recorded by plat in Volume 65, at Page 274 and 275, of the Deed Records of Harris County, Texas , for park purposes . Section 2: That the City Council hereby officially designates and names the above tract of land as the WESTWOOD PARK. Section 3: This resolution shall take effect from and after its passage by the City Council .
