BAY'AOTAN RECOGNIZI\i'G AND CO.'riva DING DR. LOUIS B. HUGHES FOR
HIS FAITHFUL PERFIORCSANCE OF DUTIES AS CITY HEALTH OFFICER
FOR THE CITY OF BAYTDWN, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE MAYOR NO CITY CLEPX TO EXECUTE A COPY OF THIS RESOLU-
TION AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO FOINARD A CERTIFIED
COPY OF SACS TO DR. LOUIS B. HUGHES.
WHEREAS, the City of Baytown has utilized the services of a
City Health Officer pursuant to the provisions of Article 4425, Vernon's
Annotated Civil Statutes; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Louis B. Hughes has served the City in this capa-
city for a period of eight years; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Hughes has faithfully performed his duties as City
Health Officer in a highly professional and superior manner; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to officially thank and cony
m nd the said Dr. Hughes for his service to the camlunity in this capacity;
NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTCYlI, TEXAS:
Section 1: That Dr. Louis B. Hughes is hereby officially thanked
and ccsmrxuled for his performance of duty as City Health Officer of the
City of Baytown.
Section 2: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute this resolution and the City Manager is directed
tp present a certified copy of same to Dr. Hughes.

members of the City Council of the City of Baytown on this the 14th day
