AN UNANIMOUS RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN
MAKING, DECLARING AND DEDICATING THE ROWS AND RIGHTS-OF-WAY IN THE
BAYTOWN CIVIC CENTER AS PUBLIC ROADS; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CIERK TO EXECUTE COPIES OF THIS RESOLUTION AND DIRECT-
ING THS CITY NMGER TO FORWARD A CERTIFISD COPY OF SANE TO THE
DISTRICT NAAUM OF HOUSTON LIGHTING fs POWER t MIFAVY.
WRMMS, the City of Baytown has heretofore purchased approximately
twenty-nine (29) acres of land as a Civic Center site; - and,
WHE4MS, such project has been substantially completed and, for various
legal reasons, much roadways should be dedicated and declared public streets;
NOW, THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIM CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEAS:
Section 1: That all of the roads and rights-of-way commonly used and
useful for vehicular traffic in the Baytown Civic Center are hereby declared to
be and are hereby dedicated as public streets.
Set 2: That the Mayor and City Clark are hereby authorised and
directed zo execute this resolution and the City Manager is hereby directed to
forward a certified copy of same to the District Manager of Houston Lighting &
Power Company.
