CC Resolution No. 182 RESOLUTION NO. 18 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF CHECKS ON ALL ACCOUNTS OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN BY EITHER FRITZ LANHAM OR EDNA OLIVER JOINT WITH J. B. LEFEVRE OR 0. 13. COE, JR BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: THAT a local Bank is selected, from bid proposals, to serve as depository for the &undo of the City of Baytown by the City Council; that said funds shall be withdrawn from said depository on the check of this corporation signed by either #1 or #3 joint with #2 or #4 of the following officers of this corporation; that any of the four are authorized to endorse, by rubber stamp or otherwise, and cash checks and drafts for and on behalf of this corporation. Fritz Lanham City Manager #1 J. B. LeFevre Director of Finance #2 Edna Oliver City Clerk #3 O. M. Coe, Jr Deputy Treasurer #4 It is further resolved that any of the above named officers, shall be authorized to individually sign for and receive the statements and cancelled vouchers of this corporation or to appoint in writing agents to so sign for and receive such documents, and any of the above named officers are hereby further authorized to stop payments. It is further resolved that any indebtedness created in connection with this account by any of the signing officers of the corporation, whose signature shall be required on checks or drafts or other orders of payment of and transfers shall be the debt of this corporation. It is further resolved that the said Bank is hereby authorized to receive such drafts, checks, ngtos or orders so executed for the credit of, or in pay- ment from, the payee or any other holder without inquiry in any case as to the circumstances of their issue or the disposition of their proceeds whether drawn to the individual order of, or tendered in payment of any individual obligations of, any of the officers above named, or other officers of this Company or otherwise.
