A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS,AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO MADE APPLICATION TO
THE OFFICE OF NATIONAL DRUG CONTROL POLICY FOR A 2011 GRANT
FOR THE HOUSTON HIGH INTENSITY DRUG TRAFFICKING AREA
PROGRAM IN THE AMOUNT OF FIVE HUNDRED TEN THOUSAND TWO
HUNDRED NINETY-TWO AND NO1100 DOLLARS ($510,292.00);
DESIGNATING AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE:AUTHORIZING THE
REPRESENTATIVE TO ACCEPT OR AFFIRM ANY GRANT AWARD THAT
MAY RESULT THEREFROM;AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Manager of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized to make
application to the Office of National Drug Control Policy for a 2011 grant for the Houston High
Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Program in the amount of FIVE HUNDRED TEN THOUSAND
TWO HUNDRED NINETY-TWO AND NO1100 DOLLARS ($510,292.00).
Section 22: "That the City Manager is hereby designated as the authorized representative
for all purposes under the grant..
Section 3: That the City Manager of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized to accept
or affirm any grant award that may result from the above application.
Section 4: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the
City Council of the City of Baytown.
