A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF BAYTOVW'N, TEXAS,
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2118, PASSED ON FEBRUARY 10, 2011, TO
APPOINT NEW ELECTION OFFICIALS FOR PRECINCTS 13, 100, 102 AND
456/103/740 FOR THE GENERAL AND SPECIAL ELECTIONS OF THE CITY OF
BAYTOW'N TO BE HELD ON MAY 14, 2011; PROVIDING A REPEALING
CLAUSE; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby amends Resolution
No. 2118, passed on February 10, 2011, to appoint the following new election officials for the general and
special elections of the City of Baytown to be held on May 14,2011:
Precinct Election Officials
Douglas M.Clem,Judge
Precinct l3 Treva S. Knox,Alternate Judge
Precinct 100 Dahlia Meza,Judge
Maria Salina Carpenter, Alternate Judge
Precinct 102 Alicia Campos, Alternate Judge
Precinct 456/103/740 Tavita Lopez,Alternate Judge
Section 2: All resolutions or parts of resolutions inconsistent with the terms of this
resolution are hereby repealed, provided, however, that such repeal shall be only to the extent of such
inconsistency and in all other respects this resolution shall be cumulative of other ordinances and
resolutions regulating;and governing the subject matter covered by this resolution.
Section 3: If any provision, section, exception, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or
phrase of this resolution or the application of salve to any person or the set of circumstances, shall for any
reason be held unconstitutional, void or invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the
remaining provisions of this resolution or their application to other persons or sets of circumstances and
to this end all provisions of this resolution are declared to be severable.
Section 4: This resolution shall take effect imtnediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown, Texas. ,
