A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN.TEXAS,
NOMINATING ONE OR MORE CANDIDATES FOR POSITIONS ON THE BOARD
OF DIRECTORS OF THE CHAMBERS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT;AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE TI IEREOF.
WHEREAS,the City of Baytown has the right and responsibility to nominate one candidate for
each of the five positions on the Board of Directors of the Chambers County Appraisal District:and
\1'IIEREAS,the City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas,desires to exercise its right to
nominate candidates for such positions on said board of directors;NO\k'"fHEREFORG
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN.TEXAS:
Section l:That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby nominates Joe Brazil as a
candidate for a position on the Board of Directors of the Chambers County Appraisal District.
Section 2:That the:Mayor of the City of Bamwn be and is hereby.authorized and directed
to deliver or cause to be delivered a certified copy of this resolution to the chief appraiser of the
Chambers Count)Appraisal District on or before October 15.2009.
Section 3:This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the
City Council of the City of Baytown.
