CC Resolution No. 171022 RESOLUTION NO. 1710 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, DESIGNATING THE 2005 CINCO DE MAYO CONCERT AND ASSOCIATED EVENTS AS A CITY CO-SPONSORED EVENT FOR WHICH OFF -PREMISE SIGNS MAY BE PLACED ON CITY PROPERTY PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 118 "SIGNS," ARTICLE III "REGULATIONS," DIVISION 4 "LOCATION," SUBDIVISION IV "OFF -PREMISES SIGNS," SECTION 118- 358 "NEW SIGNS" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, BAYTOWN, TEXAS, CONTINGENT UPON THE FILING OF THE REQUISITE APPLICATION; DESIGNATING PROPERTIES ON WHICH SUCH SIGNS MAY BE PLACED CONTINGENT UPON THE FILING OF THE REQUISITE APPLICATION; PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That contingent upon the filing of the requisite application, the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby designates the 2005 Cinco De Mayo Concert and associated events as a City co-sponsored event for which off -premise signs may be placed on City property pursuant to Chapter 118 "Signs," Article III "Regulations," Division 4 "Location," Subdivision IV "Off -Premises Signs," Section 118-358 "New Signs" of the Code of Ordinances, Baytown, Texas. Section 2: That contingent upon the filing of the requisite application, the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby designates the following properties of the City of Baytown as properties on which the signs referenced in Section I hereinabove may be placed: 1. Bicentennial Park on Market Street; 2. Bayland Park on State Business Highway 146; 3. Central Little League Park on Garth Road; 4. North Little League Park on Cedar -Bayou Lynchburg Road; 5. Wayne Gray Sports Complex on North Main Street; 6. Entrance to the Pinehurst Subdivision on State Highway 146; 7. McElroy Park on West Baker Road; 8. Fire Station No. 5 on Bayway Drive; 9. Police Station on North Main Street; 10. Baytown East Little League Field on Ward Road; 11. Animal Control Facility on Highway 146; and 12. City Hall Complex on Market Street and West Main Street. The exact placement of the signs on the above -referenced properties must be approved by the City Manager. Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
