CC Resolution No. 1700 9 RESOLUTION NO. 1700 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, NAMING THE ELECTION OFFICIALS FOR THE GENERAL AND SPECIAL ELECTIONS OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, TO BE HELD ON MAY 7, 2005; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the election officials for the general election of the City of Baytown to be held on May 7, 2005, are as follows: Precinct Election Officials Precinct 13 G. K. Fulkerson, Judge Deborah Hutchison, Alternate Judge Precincts Don Teter, Judge 28/739 Vivian Lavigne, Alternate Judge Precinct 99 Gil Gerlich, Judge Carl Brandon, Alternate Judge Precinct 100 Anita Meismer, Judge Chris Meismer, Alternate Judge Precinct 102 Elodia Alaniz, Judge Elida Santana, Alternate Judge Precinct 248 Carmen Torres, Judge Yolanda Whitford, Alternate Judge Precincts Henry Torres, Judge 96/103 Gerri Ybarra, Alternate Judge Section 2: The City Clerk is hereby appointed Manager of the Central Counting Station and also Tabulation Supervisor. Leatha Whitaker is hereby appointed Presiding Judge for the Central Counting Station. Section 3: Leatha Whitaker is hereby appointed Presiding Judge of the Early Voting Ballot Board. The City Clerk is hereby appointed the Early Voting Clerk. Patti Merrell and Connie Knepp are hereby voted the Deputy Early Voting Clerks. Section 4: All resolutions or parts of resolutions inconsistent with the terms of this ordinance are hereby repealed; provided, however, that such repeal shall be only to the extent of such inconsistency and in all other respects this ordinance shall be cumulative of other ordinances regulating and governing the subject matter covered by this ordinance. Section 5: If any provision, section, exception, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or the application of same to any person or the set of 10 circumstances, shall for any reason be held unconstitutional, void or invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this ordinance or their application to other persons or sets of circumstances and to this end all provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. Section 6: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas.
