CC Resolution No. 1666 62 RESOLUTION NO. 1666 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE APPLICATION TO THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE FROM THE LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANTS PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING TWO THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-NINE AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($2,139.00) IN MATCHING FUNDS; DESIGNATING AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE; AUTHORIZING THE REPRESENTATIVE TO ACCEPT OR AFFIRM ANY GRANT AWARD THAT MAY RESULT THEREFROM; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. +««*«**«*:r*++*r***►s*srrar**+*a**xa******rear*a+*rear»+*xr*sr*asr***+:*.**s*s+**e*+. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Manager of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized to make application to the United States Department of Justice from the Local Law Enforcement Block Grants Program. Section 2: That the City Council hereby authorizes TWO THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-NINE AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($2,139.00) in matching funds for the grant. Section 3: That the City Manager is hereby designated as the authorized representative for all purposes under the grant. Section 4: That the City Manager of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized to accept or affirm any grant award that may result from the above applications. Section 5: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
