CC Resolution No. 1652 43 RESOLUTION NO. 1652 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, GRANTING THE PETITION OF BRAZOS RIVER NORTH SOUTH LTD. CONCERNING THE ANNEXATION OF 22.55 ACRES LOCATED EAST OF STATE HIGHWAY 146 IN THE JACOB ARMSTRONG SURVEY, CHAMBERS COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. WHEREAS, Section 43.028 of the Texas Local Government Code provides for the annexation of certain sparsely populated property upon the written petition of the owners of the property and all persons or entities with an interest therein; and WHEREAS, the City of Baytown has received such a petition filed by Brazos River North South Ltd. for the annexation of 22.55 acres located east of State Highway 146 in the Jacob Armstrong Survey, Chambers County, Texas; and WHEREAS, on this date, the City Council heard the petition and the arguments for and against the annexation and desires to grant the petition; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby grants the petition of Brazos River North South Ltd. concerning the annexation of 22.55 acres located east of State Highway 146 in the Jacob Armstrong Survey, Chambers County, Texas. Said petition is attached hereto as Exhibit "A," and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes. Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
