CC Resolution No. 1637 19 RESOLUTION NO. 1637 A RESOLUTION O F THE C ITY C OUNCIL OF T HE C ITY O F BAYTOWN, TEXAS, NAMING THE ELECTION OFFICIALS FOR THE GENERAL AND SPECIAL ELECTIONS OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, TO BE HELD ON MAY 15, 2004; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the election officials for the general and special election of the City of Baytown to be held on May 15, 2004, are as follows: Precinct Election Officials Precinct 11 Marsha Johnson, Judge Misty Johnson, Alternate Judge Precincts Ima Rodriguez, Judge 12/533 Leah Rodriguez, Alternate Judge Precinct 13 G. K. Fulkerson, Judge Deborah Hutchison Precincts Kenneth Jensen, Judge 28/739 Don Teter, Alternate Judge Precincts Susan Whitted, Judge 63/387 Alois Cau hman, Alternate Judge Precinct 99 Gil Gerlich, Judge Alternate Judge Precinct 100 Anita Meismer, Judge Chris Meismer, Alternate Judge Precinct 102 Elodia Alaniz, Judge Elida Santana, Alternate Judge Precinct 248 Carmen Torres, Judge Vera Sanchez, Alternate Judge Precincts Malcolm Henderson, Judge 249/101 Robert Kelley, Alternate Judge Precinct 250 Roland Leno, Judge Sandra Leno, Alternate Judge Precinct 386 Tom Cottar, Judge Bill Allen, Alternate Judge Precinct 414 Pamela Lewis, Judge Susan Pruett, Alternate Judge Precincts Janelle Murphy, Judge 456/96/103/740 Gerri Ybarra, Alternate Judge Precinct 532 Annette Barber, Judge Buddy Barber, Alternate Judge 20 Section 2: The City Clerk is hereby appointed Manager of the Central Counting Station and also Tabulation Supervisor. Leatha Whitaker is hereby appointed Presiding Judge for the Central Counting Station. Section 3: Leatha Whitaker is hereby appointed Presiding Judge of the Early Voting Ballot Board. The City Clerk is hereby appointed the Early Voting Clerk and Patti Merrell is hereby voted the Deputy Early Voting Clerk. Section 4: All resolutions or parts of resolutions inconsistent with the terms of this ordinance are hereby repealed; provided, however, that such repeal shall be only to the extent of such inconsistency and in all other respects this ordinance shall be cumulative of other ordinances regulating and governing the subject matter covered by this ordinance. Section 5: If any provision, section, exception, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or the application of same to any person or the set of circumstances, shall for any reason be held unconstitutional, void or invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this ordinance or their application to other persons or sets of circumstances and to this end all provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. Section 6: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas.
