CC Resolution No. 1379 2620 RESOLUTION NO. 1379 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, TO ACCEPT A GRANT AWARD FROM THE OFFICE OF NATIONAL DRUG CONTROL POLICY IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE HIGH INTENSITY DRUG TRAFFICKING AREA PROJECT; DESIGNATING THE CITY MANAGER AS THE AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Manager of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized to accept a grant award from the Office of National Drug Control Policy in conjunction with the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Project for the period March 1, 1999, to February 28, 2000, in the amount of FIVE HUNDRED TWENTY-EIGHT THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-TWO AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($528,222.00). Section 2: That the City Manager of the City of Baytown is hereby designated as the authorized representative for all purposes under the grant. Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
