CC Resolution No. 1307 2510 RESOLUTION NO. 1307 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, CONTINUING SECTION 17-24 "CURFEW HOURS FOR MINORS" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown passed Section 17-24 "Curfew Hours for Minors" of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Baytown, Texas, on April 28, 1994; and WHEREAS, Section 370.002, Local Government Code, V.T.C.A., requires review of the curfew ordinance every third year after enactment; and WHEREAS, the City Council has held two public hearings on the need to continue the ordinance; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown has reviewed the curfew ordinance's effect on the community and on the problems the ordinance was intended to remedy, and finds the ordinance to be meeting the purposes for which it was enacted; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: All matters and facts set forth in the recitals above are found to be true, and are approved as the processes and procedures which the City Council of the City of Baytown undertook and completed prior to the adoption of this ordinance. Section 2: The City Council of the City of Baytown continues in effect for all purposes Section 17-24 "Curfew Hours for Minors" of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Baytown, Texas. Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
