RESOLUTION NO. 1209
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF
BAYTOWN, TEXAS, TO MAKE APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS
ALTERNATIVE FUEL COUNCIL FOR AN ALTERNATIVE FUEL GRANT;
DESIGNATING AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE; AUTHORIZING
REPRESENTATIVE TO ACCEPT OR AFFIRM ANY GRANT AWARD THAT
MAY RESULT THEREFROM; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Manager of the City of Baytown is
hereby authorized to make application to the Texas Alternative Fuel
Council for a alternative fuel grant in the amount of ONE HUNDRED
THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE AND N0/100 DOLLARS ($100, 625. 00) .
Section 2 : That the City Manager is hereby designated as the
authorized representative for all purposes under the grant.
Section 3 : That the City Manager of the City of Baytown is
hereby authorized to accept or affirm any grant award that may
result from the above application.
Section 4 : This resolution shall take effect immediately from
and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED, by the affirmative vote of the
City Council of the City of Baytown this the 24th day of March,
1994 .
