CC Resolution No. 1183 2284 RESOLUTION NO. 1183 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF PROPERTY BY VELMA MAE COX AND HENRY O. HARPER; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO FILE SAID DEDICATION WITH THE COUNTY CLERK OF HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. ****************************************************************** WHEREAS, Velma Mae Cox and Henry 0. Harper have expressed their desire to donate certain property to the City of Baytown for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, formally accepts the dedication of certain property from Velma Mae Cox and Henry 0. Harper, the owners of the property as described in Exhibit "A, " and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes. Section 2 : The City Clerk is hereby directed to file the dedication deed with the County Clerk of Harris County, Texas. Section 3 : This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
