A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE APPLICATION TO
THE OFFICE OF NATIONAL DRUG CONTROL POLICY FOR A 2020 GRANT
FOR THE HOUSTON HIGH INTENSITY DRUG TRAFFICKING AREA
PROGRAM IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION THREE HUNDRED
TWENTY-NINE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWO AND NO"100 DOLLARS
($1,329,402.00); DESIGNATING AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE;
AUTHORIZING THE REPRESENTATIVE TO ACCEPT OR AFFIRM ANY
GRANT AWARD THAT MAY RESULT THEREFROM; AND PROVIDING FOR
THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Manager of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized to make
application to the Office of National Drug Control Policy for a 2020 grant for the Houston High
Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Program in the amount of ONE MILLION THREE HUNDRED
TWENTY-NINE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWO AND NO!100 DOLLARS
($1,329,402.00).
Section 2: That the City Manager is hereby designated as the authorized representative
for all purposes under the grant.
Section 3: That the City Manager of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized to accept
or affirm any grant award that may result from the above application.
Section 4: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the
City Council of the City of Baytown.
