Ordinance No. 12,251ORDINANCE NO. 12,251 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 94 "TRAFFIC AND VEHICLES," ARTICLE IV "SPECIFIC STREET REGULATIONS," SECTION 94 -121 "SCHEDULES ENUMERATED," SCHEDULE III "DESIGNATION — NO PARKING ZONES" TO DESIGNATE A "NO PARKING ZONE" ALONG PORTIONS OF STATE HIGHWAY 146 WITHIN THE CITY IN CHAMBERS COUNTY; REPEALING ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH; PRESCRIBINO A MAXIMUM PENALTY OF TWO HUNDRED AND NO /100 DOLLARS ($200.00) FOR EACH VIOLATION; AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF_ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That Chapter 94 "Traffic and Vehicles," Article IV "Specific Street Regulations," Section 94 -121 "Schedules enumerated," Schedule III "Designation — No Parking Zones" of the Code of Ordinances, City of Baytown, Texas, is hereby amended to designate the following as a no parking zone: Near 8102 State Highway 146 North from 150' south of the northeast corner of A point that is 164' south of the 8220 State Highway 146, south along to southeast corner of Redwood and State Highway 146 State Highway 146 Such zones are depicted in Exhibit "A," which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes. Section 2: The Director of Public Works is authorized and directed to cause the placement of the proper signs to be posted at the above- described locations. Section 3: It shall be unlawful for a driver of a vehicle to disobey the instructions of the signs placed in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance, unless at the time otherwise directed by a police officer.
